IndyCar Championship

Despite the vast distances IndyCar races cover, there have been 96 races that have had a margin of victory of less than one-tenth of a second.

That means that over the course of hundreds of miles, the drivers couldn’t manufacture enough breathing room to have enough time blink. The competition is that level.

In these marathons, victory is ultimately earned by a culmination of small moments going the right way. The amount of skill required to consistently seize these moments and capitalize with a top finish is rare.

As we reach the end of this year’s IndyCar Season, three drivers have proven themselves to be that rare breed of top finishers – and they’re all on the same team. And they’re all powered by the same oil you can buy off the shelf: Pennzoil Ultra Platinum® 0W-40.

With a clean sweep of the podium, Team Penske’s dominance this season has been undeniable. The roster of seven-time Verizon IndyCar Series Race winner Simon Pagenaud, 2014 Verizon IndyCar Series champion and three-time runner up Will Power, along with three time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves has essentially cemented itself as IndyCar’s answer to the 1927 Yankees.

Team Penske redefined the limits of next level performance. Pennzoil thanks them for choosing us to be a part of something truly special.
