She has been a guest numerous times on Oprah!, and has made multiple appearances on the TODAY show, Inside Edition, The Early Show, CNN, MSNBC, CNNfn, FOX News, NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, WB, UPN, The Weather Channel, ESPN, the Discovery Channel, Speedvision, the Empire Sports Network, and National Public Radio. She is the author of Driving Ambitions: A Complete Guide to Amateur Auto Racing and The Performance Tire and Wheel Handbook, and she has written articles for Motor Trend, Truck Trend, Hot Rod, Car Craft, Good Housekeeping and Self Magazine.

automotive expert on the Do-It-Yourself Network (DIY), a cable television outlet that focuses on the do-it-yourself enthusiast, providing in-depth demonstrations and tips for auto repair.

She is also the spokesperson for “Be Car Care Aware,” a consumer-education campaign promoting the benefits of regular vehicle care, maintenance, and repair. Lauren will be educating consumers around the country on TV, radio, and press about safety, maintenance, and pride of ownership.

Lauren has been a strong part of the automotive industry all her life. Her degree is in management with a strong engineering foundation. From sales to marketing to design, Lauren is a real DIYer (do-it-yourselfer) who offers consumers education based on personal experience. She is a long-standing member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

Ms. Fix is owner of Automotive Aspects, a consulting firm that provides information on marketing, sales training, and consumer awareness, and she is vice president of Classic Tube. She is a spokesperson and training consultant on new product and media launches for major automotive manufacturers. Lauren is a 40 Under 40 Business Award Winner and recipient of the 2000 Car Care Council Communications Award and the 2002 Women of the Year given by the Business Advisory Board of NY. Lauren has been listed in the Yearbook of Spokespersons, Experts, and Authorities since 1998.
