Pennzoil® Type F ATF
Pennzoil® Type F ATF is a specially compounded fluid for certain automatic transmissions and transaxles. It is formulated with high quality mineral oil and performance additives to exceed the requirements of Ford Motor Company specification WSS-M2C33-F.

Pennzoil® Synthetic Gear Oils are available in SAE 75W-90 viscosity grades of either API GL-4 or API GL-5 service classifications. Specially formulated with synthetic base stocks to meet the requirements that today’s cars, minivans, SUVs and light-duty trucks encounter in normal and severe driving conditions.
The synthetic base stocks used in Pennzoil® Synthetic gear lubricants provide better protection than low- and high temperature conventional mineral-oil base stocks. They offer protection over a wide temperature range. The API GL-5 product is specially suitable for use in limited-slip differentials.
Pennzoil® Synthetic 75W-140 GL-5
Pennzoil® Synthetic 75W-140 GL-5 Gear Lubricant combines a premium performance gear oil additive package with a high quality synthetic base stock. The result is a gear oil that provides excellent fluidity for safe lubrication of gears and axles during very low temperatures and also maintains a thick protective oil film during extremely hot
operating conditions.
Pennzoil® Synthetic 75W-140 GL-5 is formulated with all the performance additives necessary for outstanding protection of gears and bearings. It contains extreme pressure agents that protect against shock loading and wear. Foam inhibitors protect against oil aeration, which can rupture the lubricant film and cause wear due to lack of lubrication. Special rust inhibitors are incorporated into Pennzoil® Synthetic 75W-140 GL-5 to protect against corrosion that can result from condensation. Oxidation inhibitors are included to further enhance this synthetic oil's inherent oxidation stability, resulting in a lubricant with exceptionally long-service life and excellent resistance to deposit formation during high temperature operation.

Classification GL-5.
Application:
Pennzoil® Synthetic 75W-140 GL-5 Gear Lubricant is designed primarily for the lubrication of differentials and manual transmissions requiring an API GL-5 gear lubricant. It can be used in limited slip and conventional differentials found in passenger cars, light trucks, sport utility vehicles and vans. It continues to flow at very low temperatures, providing especially good protection for gears and bearings in extreme cold weather. It also provides excellent service in torrid climates by not thinning at high temperatures, thereby maintaining a full film of protective lubricant on gear teeth. In hot running gear boxes, it allows longer service due to the excellent stability of the synthetic base stocks used in the product. Pennzoil® Synthetic 75W-140 GL-5 is specially formulated for today’s stringent demands of everyday stop-and-go driving and towing applications.
Pennzoil® Synthetic 75W-140 GL-5 is suitable for use in both limited slip and conventional differentials. It may be used for makeup or complete refill of limited slip differentials, including rebuilt units.
Passenger car or truck manual transmissions experiencing difficult shifting during cold weather while using conventional mineral-based GL-5 oils, will typically find easier shifting characteristics when using Pennzoil® Synthetic 75W-140 GL-5.

Pennzoil® Synchromesh Manual Transmission Fluid
Pennzoil® Synchromesh Fluid is a synchromesh transmission fluid designed for certain manual transaxles and manual transmissions used by General Motors or Chrysler. Pennzoil® Synchromesh Fluid is formulated with high-quality paraffinic base stocks, a fluidity modifier, multifunctional performance additives, corrosion inhibitors, a foam suppressor and a shear stable viscosity index improver additive. It provides excellent oxidation stability, low-temperature performance, excellent synchronizer performance and compatibility with yellow metals, such as bronze, brass and copper components found in manual transaxles and transmissions. This product will satisfactorily lubricate General Motors or Chrysler manual transaxles and transmissions from -40°C to +150°C.

Pennzoil® Long-Life® Transmission Fluid TO-4 is suitable for the lubrication of heavy duty equipment in on- and off-road service that requires a lubricant meeting the Caterpillar TO-4 or Allison C-4 specifications. Provides excellent service in most Caterpillar powershift transmissions, final drives, hydrostatic transmissions, torque converters and hydraulics specifying Caterpillar TO-4 qualified oils, as well as transmissions and drive trains recommending Allison C-4 oils.
Pennzoil® Long-Life® Transmission Fluid EW SAE 50 is formulated with non-EP gear additive technology and synthetic base stocks. It is suitable for the lubrication of manual transmissions in on-road trucks and buses operating on extended warranties with oil drains up to 500,000 miles. It meets the stringent requirements of Eaton PS-164 Rev. 7 and is also suitable for use in manual transmissions of off-highway heavy equipment that requires an oil meeting API GL-1 service classification.

Today’s heavy duty trucks, construction, and farm equipment place high demands on gear lubricants used in transmissions and axles. Longer working hours, higher horsepower engines and aerodynamically styled tractors, which reduce airflow for cooling, cause transmissions to operate at higher temperatures. Pennzoil® Long-Life® GearPlus Heavy Duty Gear Oils are formulated for use in universal duty hypoid or spiral bevel gear differentials or axles in heavy duty truck, agricultural or construction equipment. They may also be used in heavy duty truck or bus manual transmissions that allow the use of API MT-1 lubricants. Pennzoil® Long-Life® GearPlus Heavy Duty Gear Oils are blended with new thermally stable sulfur-phosphorus additive technology that provides the latest in “Clean Gear” performance (MT-1). Clean Gear performance can help reduce loss of lubricant due to seal degradation as the gear oils are less likely to form harmful deposits that can degrade seals.
Pennzoil® Long-Life® GearPlus Heavy Duty Gear Oils are formulated with all the performance additives necessary for outstanding protection of gears and bearings. Thermally stable extreme pressure agents protect against shock loading and wear, even when contaminated with water, which can happen in construction or agricultural applications. Foam inhibitors protect against oil aeration, which can rupture the lubricant film and cause wear due to lack of lubrication. Although Pennzoil® Long-Life® GearPlus Heavy Duty Gear Oils are classified as multi-viscosity gear oils, they do not contain viscosity index improvers that artificially boost viscosity. This means that the lubricants will retain their “body” and will not shear down during use, maintaining a strong, stable, protective film, even under heavy loads and high speeds. Pennzoil® Long-Life® Heavy Duty Gear Oil 80W-90 gives the full protection of SAE 90 under high temperatures and hard driving conditions, while still providing the fast-flow characteristics of SAE 80W when cold. Similarly, the Pennzoil® Long-Life® GearPlus Heavy Duty Gear Oil SAE 85W-140 gives the full protection of SAE 140 under high temperatures and loads while providing the fast-flow characteristics of an SAE 85W. Application:
Pennzoil® Long-Life® GearPlus Heavy Duty Gear Oils are recommended for use in hypoid or spiral bevel gear axles of trucks, buses, construction or agricultural equipment where API Service GL-5 product is specified. They are also recommended for use in heavy duty truck or bus transmissions that require an MT-1 lubricant.
Examples of agricultural equipment which might use Pennzoil® Long-Life® GearPlus Heavy Duty Gear Oils include final drives, wheel hubs, front axles and wheel ends of tractors; transmissions in skid steers; gear reduction units in balers; feeder and lower unloader gear cases in combines. Examples of agricultural equipment which might use Pennzoil® Long-Life® GearPlus Heavy Duty Gear Oils include final drives and winches in crawler tractors or excavators; transmissions in forklifts; rear axles in tree skidders; front and rear axles in trenchers; final drives in wheel loaders. You should consult the equipment manufacturer for exact fluid recommendations; the specified fluid for the application might be different than one of the examples. Fluid recommendations can and do change, depending on model
and manufacturer.
Suitable for mixed fleet applications, Pennzoil® Long-Life® GearPlus Heavy Duty Gear Oils are also recommended for use in limited slip differentials of cars, pickup trucks, and sport utility vehicles, in addition to construction and agricultural equipment. These lubricants exceed all performance requirements of Dana SHAES-256 REV. C, ArvinMeritor O76-N, Mack GO-J Plus, API GL-5, MT-1 and MIL-PRF-2105E/SAE J2360 specifications. Pennzoil® Long-Life® Extended Warranty Gear Oils can be used in Dana® Spicer® drive axles for extended drain intervals of 500,000 miles and satisfy the requirements of the 750,000-mile warranty. In ArvinMeritor axles equipped with pumps and filter for extended drain intervals of 500,000 miles, and in Mack axles operating on extended drain intervals.
Pennzoil® Long-Life® Extended Warranty Gear Oils are available in SAE grades 75W-90 and 80W-140 and can be used wherever an API GL-5 SAE grade 75W-90, 80W-140, 75W, 80W, 90 or 140 gear lube is recommended.
It is worth noting that Eaton and ZFMeritor do not allow the use of API GL-5, MT-1 gear oils in their heavy duty transmissions. It should also be noted that most axle oils are not compatible with transmission fluids. Mixing of the two lubricants should be avoided as it may result in incompatibility and additive separation.

Pennzoil® Gearplus® SAE 80W-90 GL-5 is a specially formulated gear oil designed to withstand the demands of today's stop-and-go driving. Recommended by Pennzoil® for use in hypoid or spiral bevel gear differentials and industrial gear units where API Service GL-5 and SAE 80W or 80W-90 viscosity grades are specified. Especially suited for limited-slip differentials as make-up or refill fluid, and is an excellent replacement fluid for rebuilt limited-slip.

Pennzoil® Gearplus® SAE 80W-140 GL-5 multi-purpose gear lubricant is manufactured from select, highly refined base oils and field-proven performance additives.
