Randy’s 1966 Ford Mustang GT
“I’ve wanted this car since I was ten years old.”
Randy first laid eyes on this beauty before he could drive. As an adult he followed it all the way to the Philippines to claim it for his own. Currently, it’s painted hot rod black with 170,000 miles on the odometer and equipped with a V8 289 engine with 340 horsepower with Pennzoil High Mileage coursing through to keep the engine purring. Now that’s a childhood sweetheart story.
Dane’s 2000 Pontiac Firebird
“Extensively modded with hardly a screw or bolt left unturned.”
Many gearheads would be content with just owning a Firebird, Dane saw it as the jumping-off-point. From the V6 engine, the T-56 transmission, the MGW racing shifter and the 4 piston caliber rear brakes his fingerprints are all over this joyride.
Jeffery’s 2004 Toyota Cellica
“It’s my toy.”
Before an unfortunate wreck, Jeffrey loved driving his Cellica. Undeterred, he’s bringing his joyride back to life with plans of adding in custom airbag suspension, custom exhaust, a custom interior, a brand new dash, as well as having new rims and new tires.
Jeremy’s 1987 Dodge Shelby CSX
“I figure that there aren’t too many left that are still stock.”
Jeremy’s joyride sits on original Shelby Centurion wheels designed by Carroll Shelby. Under the hood you’ll find a 5-speed turbocharged 4-cylinder with 175 horsepower. He pours Pennzoil Platinum to maintain the performance of this classic.
Jonathan’s 1967 Pontiac GTO
“It’ll be one heck of a joyride.”
There wasn’t much giddy-up left in this Pontiac by the time Jonathan got his hands on it. But after a full rebuild its rocking 335 horsepower with 441ft pound-of-torque equipped with 400 cubic inch engine backed by a turbo 400 automatic transmission with a “his-and-hers” shifter. From the headlight-to-tailpipe and even the pewter paint scheme, this GTO has been restored to factory specific perfection.
Kevin’s 1976 AMC Pacer Racer
“This car has won many races.”
In this joyride’s former life, it was a class 6 winner of the Mint 400. Instead of letting it collect dust, Kevin is in the process of a complete rebuild to restore this Pacer to its former glory.
Mike’s 1931 Ford Model A Coupe
“I’ve always dreamed of owning a car like this, and now I have one in my garage.”
You don’t see one of these every day. With the original frame, fuel filler, and grill shell this Model A is a piece of history sitting on 16” rims. While it’s hey-day was 86 years ago, this joyride has held up remarkably well and is still a sight to behold.
Jeff’s 1951 Ford Custom
“Currently, I’m waiting on my wonderful wife to allow me buy quarter panels.”
Typically, the immobilized 66-year-old hunk of metal in your garage isn’t designated as your joyride – especially with a Jeep Wrangler and a Ford Mustang in the driveway. But Jeff is determined to take this 1951 Ford Custom from relic to running strong. He’s got a vision, he’s got a plan and we dig his passion.
Noah’s 1991 BMW 38ti E30
“This one’s the keeper.”
As a hobbyist photographer, Noah has an eye for the details. In addition to being impeccably cared for, Noah’s bimmer still has the original paint that features the trademark pinstripes on the side, Clocking in at 176,000 miles, his M42 engine is still running strong. With plans to swap in an M50 or S50 engine, Noah looks to Pennzoil as the only motor oil brand to give his joyride optimal performance.

Julian’s 1995 Dodge Ram 1500
“I call her The Battleship.”
Aptly named, Julian’s 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 is a monster. He maintains the performance of his 360 cu in Magnum V8 engine with Pennzoil High Mileage. One day, he hopes to race it in the Baja 1000.
