Up to 15 Years /500,000 miles
When you purchase Pennzoil® motor oil to change your vehicle’s oil by yourself or when you purchase a Pennzoil® oil change performed by a professional installer, you have the option to enroll for our FREE lubrication limited warranty that will protect 15 of your engine's lubrication-related parts, such as the pistons, timing chain, valve stems and cam shafts. We have 2 levels
of protection available:
- Up to 15 years or 500,000 miles (whichever is first) Ñ if you exclusively use Pennzoil top portfolio level full synthetic motor oil (e.g., Pennzoil Ultra™)
- Up to 300,000 miles or 10 years (whichever is first) Ñ if you exclusively use other Pennzoil® motor oil products (e.g., Pennzoil® Conventional, Pennzoil® High Mileage Vehicle®, Pennzoil® Gold™ and Pennzoil Platinum®)
How to get coverage?
Your engine must have less than 60,000 miles and have been manufactured within the last 60 months. It's that easy! The lubrication limited warranty takes effect 60 days after your first purchase of Pennzoil® motor oil.
How to keep it?
Just get an oil change with Pennzoil® every 4,000 miles or 4 months, whichever comes first. The oil filter and air cleaner elements must be replaced and the emission control system must be maintained in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations. Please note the following:
- If you have your oil professionally changed and your vehicle’s engine and emission control system professionally serviced by an installer, automotive center, commercial fast oil change facility, gasoline service station, or auto dealer, save all of your receipts.
- If you change your own oil, you must save all your receipts from a merchant or retailer showing your required Pennzoil® oil and filter purchase, as well as your receipts for having your engine and emission control system serviced.
- Keep these receipts in a safe place.
- If you have a claim, you must be able to show SOPUS Products that you used Pennzoil® motor oil, and satisfy all other requirements, before you will be eligible for reimbursement under this Lubrication Limited Warranty.
